Our set-up

The Bedouin tent is made from:

  • Wood from trees that were uprooted in the Sheffield floods of 2007
  •  Recycled army canvas for the roof
  •  Recycled caravan awnings and frame tents for the sides
  •  Upcycled charity shop curtains, reclaimed carpet, cushions and other homemade upcycled furnishings. Sheffield skips were a rich source of materials!

What we offer

  • We provide two thermostatically controlled hot showers, heated by a wood burner. Each shower has its own individual cubicle for privacy.
  • We also provide a sauna in a converted vintage horsebox, with cold plunge pool and cold shower.
  • We have separate private male and female changing areas at the back of our beautiful Bedouin tent.
  • We insist that all toiletries used are eco-friendly. We can provide excellent quality toiletries for those who do not have suitable toiletries themselves
  • We can also run men only; women only; and family sessions each day.
  • We have a ‘quick wash’ sink with soap and hot and cold running water easily accessible for passers by.
  • Possibility of hot tubs upon request.
  • Copies of our detailed risk assessment and of our insurance certificate are available on request.
